NT LONGSHAW GUIDED WALK

JUNE 2018 WALK EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK CHALLENGE – DAY 3

It’s Wednesday and it means NT Longshaw guided walk for me. I love walking around Longshaw, every time it looks different with season and weather changing.

Me being me, by mistake I deleted all the pictures from the walk. Yeah, I know, so frustrating!

Luckily Kev Dunnington has been on the walk too, but he took only three pictures this time! He kindly sent them to me and said I can use them for the blog. Thanks Kev!

Here’s is the proof that I did the walk. I have recorded it on my app. 🙂

The Walk

We started outside the cafe and went via Toad’s Mouth and Winyards Nick to Over Owler Tor and back to the cafe via Lawrence Field. Lovely 3.18 miles walk. The weather was just perfect, sunny and warm. It was a good turn out, about 20 people. The Bell Heather is just coming out in Longshaw. So pretty.

Cafe’s beautiful yellow roof. Particularly popular with bees. 🙂 When you are there don’t forget to visit their Kitchen Garden which is just behind the cafe.
