NOVEMBER 2018 – WALK EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK CHALLENGE – DAY 2

Happy 1st Birthday Snap and Saunter!

Exactly a year ago, Snap and Saunter was born. It was today last year when I wrote my first post about my walk around the Agden Reservoir near Sheffield.

I can’t believe that it has been a year since I started to go on walks more regularly and exploring the area around Sheffield where I live. Since then I did many walks in all kinds of weather. I am constantly amazed by how the countryside changes every week and with every season.

Furthermore, I am much happier and I cannot stress how going on walks and being outdoors is good for your soul as well as your physical health. I also joined my local walking group at Longshaw where I am now a walk support volunteer.

I met so many lovely people of some of them became my friends. I would like to say thanks to my friend Kev who also loves walking and taking pictures for always being up for a good walk. He is an amazing photographer, check his flickr account here

Thank You!

It is funny, I kind of organise my life and work around the walks instead of the other way round.  I am quite addicted to it!  🙂 I know I am quite lucky as I am self- employed so I can go on walks very often.

Huge thank you to all of you readers. Thank you for your lovely comments, your messages and support. This blog keeps me motivated to get outdoors and improve my photography which I love. I am glad that someone actually reads it. It makes me very happy.

Finally, I would love to say huge thanks to my lovely husband Oliver. Thanks Ollie for reading and correcting my blog every time ( as English is not my first language :-)) and being generally there for me with a huge support. Thank God you love walking too. :-).

Here is to another beautiful year of lovely landscapes, images, walks, adventures and memories. ♥

To celebrate I re-visited the Agden reservoir today with my friend Kev. It was very misty and quite chilly. My hands were freezing when taking photos even with the gloves on. I brought a muffin with a candle and we had fun creating the images.

Here are a few images from the walk.
